Loopa Premium is sold in two shapes.

Both plans are the same app. Loopa Premium Family is not a bigger version of Premium — it is the same Premium, for more people.
Prices are US dollars and exclude tax. In other countries the App Store or Google Play charges the equivalent local price it sets, which is not a straight currency conversion. The price on the screen when you buy is the price that applies.
What the family plan adds
- Premium for up to six people, through a Loopa Family Group. The organizer invites up to five others; each of them gets the full app.
- It works on Android. A Loopa Family Group is ours rather than a store feature, which is why it reaches an Android phone.
- The shared pantry, so the household's meal plans and shopping lists come out of one cupboard.
At six people, $119.99 a year is about $20.00 each.
Apple Family Sharing is not used and is switched off on every Loopa plan. The Family Group is the only way Premium is shared, and it is deliberate: Apple's own sharing has never reached an Android phone, and a household is rarely all on one kind of phone. See [[Loopa Family Group: what it is]].
What the single-person plan does
Everything Premium does, for you. It does not extend to a Family Group. You can still create a group and share the pantry with it — only Premium stops at you.
Everyone in a group needs their own account, and must be 18
Loopa is an adults-only service. Every member of a Family Group signs in with their own Loopa account, and every one of them must be 18 or older — the group does not create accounts for anyone and cannot cover a child. See [[Who can use Loopa]].
Each account keeps its own private data. Being in a group does not give the organizer, or anyone else, sight of another member's food log, weight, vitals, photos, medications or messages. See [[What a family group shares, and what it never shares]].
Changing plans
Moving up — monthly to yearly, or single to family — takes effect straight away, and the store credits the time you have already paid for. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
If you were already a member before 16 August 2026
Your coverage does not change, and it cannot be taken back.
Before that date there was one Premium plan, and it was sold as covering up to six people. Everyone holding an active subscription on the day the plans split keeps that: your existing subscription still covers your Family Group, at the price you are already paying, for as long as you keep it. Renewals do not change it.
You do not need to do anything, and you do not need to buy the family plan to keep what you already have.
