Loopa Terms of Service
Mobieus Partners LLC, doing business as Loopa Sheridan, Wyoming, United States
Effective: September 3, 2026 · Last updated: September 3, 2026 · Version 3.9
This replaces the version dated September 2, 2026. What changed: §4 adds a bariatric and medical weight-management section: what Loopa records about a track you switch on, what it works out from it, and the three things it will not do: decide whether surgery is right for you, recommend a procedure, or set a dose. It also states that where your care team sends in a protocol, theirs replaces the published reference one, and that everything the app shows from published guidance is quoted from a named source. The Loopa Coach section adds a fourth category, bariatric support, and lists what it shows and what it never shows. Version 3.8 replaced the version dated September 1, 2026, and what changed there: §4's medication-protocol section now covers what Loopa works out from a protocol you run: a pattern of your own days across the dose cycle, a weekly lean-mass protection score, which foods you logged before a symptom, a training week placed around those patterns, and a reorder-by reminder for your supply, and states that each describes what you recorded, that none of it is advice about the medication, and that a question for your prescriber is always your own words. The Loopa Coach section adds the two items a protocol category now carries, dose-day markers and strongest/roughest labels on the coach's calendar, and states that a category you switched on before September 2, 2026 stays as it was until you confirm the updated list. Version 3.7 replaced the version dated August 27, 2026, and what changed there: §4 now covers medication protocols. GLP-1, testosterone therapy, hormone therapy, and multi-compound and peptide protocols you define yourself. Loopa records what you report about one, shows it back to you, and organizes it into a summary for your own prescriber; it does not diagnose, treat, or recommend dosing, timing or any change to a medication, and the estimated level chart and the two calculators are informational conversions of numbers you entered yourself. §4 also adds the three protocol categories a coach can be shown (GLP-1 support, testosterone therapy support and hormone therapy support) each of which carries a symptom pattern, dose days and wellbeing averages and nothing else, and states that a peptide protocol is never shared with a coach because there is no switch for it. Version 3.6 replaced the version dated August 26, 2026, and what changed there: §6A described organizations inside Loopa as they work today. You may belong to as many as you like and own more than one. Every organization has a single owner, who can hand it to another member or delete it. Joining gives you a private room and the organization's challenges, and a challenge shares one total, for one measure, over one stretch of dates, with the other members of that organization, and only if you enter it. An owner and an administrator can edit the profile, invite, remove a member, mute somebody in the room and run the challenges. We can suspend an organization, which makes it read-only. Deleting one is permanent and takes the room, its posts, its challenges and its results with it. Every administrative act on an organization is recorded and kept for 90 days. An organization inside Loopa holds no partner account, earns nothing, and no purchase of yours is recorded against one. A gym that runs Loopa for its own members at its own address is a separate arrangement, and §6A now sets it apart in its own paragraph. Version 3.5 replaced the version dated August 26, 2026, and what changed there: §4's Loopa Coach section says that you have one coach at a time and what changing coach does, and it covers the two things a coach and a client send each other: a recommendation you accept or decline, and a single session you show your coach and can take back at any time. §6A described organizations inside Loopa: the private room and the challenges that joining gives you, what an organization can never see, and what its administrators can do. Version 3.4 replaced the version dated August 24, 2026, and what changed there: §4 describes the health notices: the two settings that show you a health notice and ask you to acknowledge it before Loopa will apply them, that neither is a limit, and that the record of what you acknowledged is yours to see and to withdraw. Version 3.3 replaced the version dated August 22, 2026, and what changed there: §6A is new and covers organizations: what joining a gym, club or employer inside Loopa does, what that organization can and cannot see, and what happens when you leave. Version 3.2 replaced the version dated August 20, 2026, and what changed there: §7 now covers Friends: what a friendship is, what it does and does not share, and that reporting and blocking work on a member as well as on a post. Version 3.1 replaced the version dated August 16, 2026, and what changed there: there is a new section on Loopa Coach: what a coach is, what they can and cannot do, and what happens when you leave one. Version 3.0 replaced the version dated August 1, 2026, and what changed there: these terms are now written for Loopa rather than for the Mobieus platform generally, membership pricing is corrected to the four plans actually sold, purchases made through Apple and Google are described accurately, and the arbitration and liability sections now carve out the rights that consumers in the EU, the UK and Canada cannot be asked to give up.
Read this first
Loopa is for adults only. You must be 18 or older.
Loopa is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It is a wellness tool. Its calculations use published equations and its AI features are generated by a language model that can be wrong. Talk to a doctor before changing your diet, your medication, your supplements or your exercise. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call emergency services.
Section 17 contains an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver that apply if you live in the United States. They do not apply to consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland or Canada.
By creating an account or using Loopa you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Loopa.
1. Who this agreement is between
These terms are a contract between you and Mobieus Partners LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Loopa ("we", "us", "Loopa").
They cover the Loopa website at loopa.mobieus.io, the marketing site at loopahealth.app, and the Loopa applications for iPhone, iPad, Android and Wear OS, together, the "Service".
Our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines are part of this agreement. Read them; they say things this document does not repeat.
2. Eligibility
To use Loopa you must:
- Be at least 18 years old. There is no exception to this, and no parental-consent route. Loopa is not for minors.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- Not be barred from using the Service under the laws that apply to you, and not be located in a country subject to a US embargo or listed on a US restricted-party list.
- Not have been removed from Loopa previously.
If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the data.
3. Your account
One account per person. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Loopa signs you in using OPAQUE (RFC 9807), so we never store your password and cannot look it up, read it back to you, or recover it. That is deliberate (it means a breach of our servers exposes no password) and it means if you lose your password you must use the reset flow, which proves control of your email address.
Tell us at support@mobieus.io if you believe someone else has access to your account.
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, the Community Guidelines, or the law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
4. What Loopa does, and what it does not do
Loopa lets you record food, weight, body measurements, vital signs, sleep, activity, water, fasting, supplements and habits; connect Apple Health, Android Health Connect, Withings, Oura and iHealth; see trends, targets and forecasts; use AI features for meal planning, coaching and food estimation; and take part in a community of forums, groups, messages and shared photographs.
We may also offer other community features from time to time: events, courses, a marketplace, challenges and similar. Where one has its own published rules, those rules apply to it in addition to these terms.
Loopa is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it has not been reviewed by the FDA, the EMA, Health Canada, the MHRA or any other regulator.
Medication protocols
If you are on a GLP-1 medication, on testosterone therapy, on hormone therapy, or following a multi-compound or peptide protocol you define yourself, Loopa can carry the training, nutrition and recovery side of it. It records what you tell it: the schedule you set, the doses you log, the symptoms and the wellbeing you record, the lab results you type in, shows it back to you, and organizes it into a summary you can hand to your own prescriber.
What Loopa works out from a protocol describes your logs and interprets none of them. Your pattern names the days your own logs put among your strongest and roughest, and says so only after three full dose cycles. The weekly lean-mass protection score is a number built from the days you met your protein goal, the sessions you completed and the direction of your lean-mass estimate. The symptom and food patterns are counts of how often a symptom was logged within three hours of a food, and nothing about cause. Your week places training around those patterns and marks dose days on a calendar; it never moves a dose and never refers to one except as a marker. A reorder-by reminder is arithmetic on the supply figures you entered. None of these is advice about the medication, and each says it is still learning rather than guessing before it has enough of your logs. A question for your prescriber is always your own words. Loopa records what you wrote beside an entry and never suggests one.
That is the whole of what it does. Loopa does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not recommend a dose, a time to take anything, a schedule, or any change to any medication. The estimated level chart and the two calculators are informational conversions of numbers you entered yourself, they are labeled as estimates, and they carry no advice. Questions about your medication belong with your prescriber, and every medication screen in the app says so.
Loopa Coach
Some members have a coach. A coach is an independent person, not our employee and not our agent, who has agreed to a separate coach agreement with us. You get one by tapping a link a specific coach gave you; there is no directory and no code to type.
A coach is paid a commission on subscriptions that begin through their link, including yours. We tell you this on the screen where you choose what to share, because it is the reason to know that a coach's advice is not disinterested.
What a coach can do, and nothing else: see the categories of your health data you have individually switched on, send you a small number of short notes a day, post to their own group, offer you a meal plan, and recommend a training routine or point at a session of yours they would like you to repeat. An offer is an offer. You accept it or you decline it, your own account is what applies it if you accept, and a routine you accept is copied into your own library and stays yours. A coach cannot change your targets, your plan, your subscription or anything else in your account, and a coach may not make sharing a condition of coaching you.
Bariatric and medical weight management
If you have had, or are considering, a weight-loss procedure, or you are following a medical weight-management programme, Loopa can carry the eating stages, the supplement schedule, the activity progression and the journal that go with it.
Loopa does not decide whether surgery is right for you, does not recommend one procedure over another, and never sets a dose. What it shows you is what published clinical guidelines say, quoted from a named source you can open, alongside what you have recorded yourself. Every screen points at your own care team, because the decisions on this subject are theirs and yours and not an app's.
Where your care team sends in a protocol, theirs is the one you see. You invite them through a single-use link, nothing takes effect until you have looked at what it changes and accepted it, and you can withdraw it at any time: at which point the published reference schedule comes back, and the app tells you it has. Where they have not sent one, the timeline Loopa shows is a published reference and is labelled as one: your care team sets your actual dates.
What Loopa works out from the track describes your own entries and interprets none of them. It compares the date you gave for your procedure against the reference stage windows and shows you where that calendar would put you: beside where you actually are, never instead of it, and it never moves you. It compares the reminder times you set against the published rule that iron and calcium are taken at least two hours apart, and offers you a clear time; it never changes a time you set. And it works out how far your weight has moved from its lowest point since your procedure, comparing that against a threshold only to decide whether to offer you a set of reading and a summary for an appointment. None of it is a diagnosis and none of it is advice about a medicine.
This part of Loopa is for adults. It carries no guidance for children or adolescents.
Three of those categories are medication protocols, and only if you run one: GLP-1 support, testosterone therapy support and hormone therapy support. Each is its own switch, and each shows a coach the same five things and nothing else, which symptoms you logged and how they cluster around dose days, as counts; which days of the week your doses fall on; your 14-day wellbeing averages; which calendar days are dose days, as markers on the coach's programming calendar; and which of your days your logs put among your strongest and roughest, as those two words only. A compound name, a dose amount, a lab value, a note on any entry, the check-in scores behind a label, a question you wrote for your prescriber, your food-noise entries and libido are outside all three. A category you switched on before September 2, 2026 stays exactly as it was until you confirm the updated list in the app; your coach receives no calendar markers from it before then. A peptide protocol is never shared with a coach: there is no switch for it.
A fourth category is bariatric support, and only if you run that track. It shows a coach which stage of the eating plan you are in and how long you have been in it; how many days you logged in the last two weeks, with your average protein and fluid against that stage's own target; how many of your supplement reminders are switched on, as a number; which symptoms you flagged and how often over the last 30 days; and that your care team has sent in a protocol, if they have. A supplement name or amount, a lab result, your weight, the notes you write on a symptom, the food beside one, your food-tolerance list, a question you wrote for your care team, and anything your care team wrote are all outside it. A coach cannot change your stage, your supplements or your lab schedule.
You have one coach at a time. Joining a coach ends any previous coaching relationship in the same act: that coach's forum closes for you, every category you had switched on for them is switched off, and anything you had shown them is withdrawn from their view. What they sent you stays in your own history. Your subscription, your price and everything you have logged are untouched.
Showing a coach one session. Apart from the categories you switch on, you can show your coach a single workout or activity session, with a note if you want to add one. You choose the item, nothing is shared automatically or on a schedule, and you can take it back at any time. it leaves your coach's view when you do. The first time you share with a coach, we show you what they will see and record that you agreed.
What a coach is not. They are not a doctor, a dietitian or a therapist unless they separately are one, and even then they are not yours in that capacity here. Where we show a credential beside a coach's name, it means a person at Mobieus checked it. Where we show no credential, it means there is none we have verified: coaches are not required to hold one. Separately, every coach completes an identity check before they can take a client; that confirms who they are and says nothing about what they know.
You can stop at any time. You can switch any category off, switch everything off at once, block them, or leave entirely. Doing any of that does not change your subscription, your price, your history, or your access to a group you have already joined. We can also end a coach's arrangement at any time; if we do, their clients keep everything just described.
We are not responsible for a coach's advice. They are independent, and the guidance they give is theirs. What we are responsible for is the consent machinery around it: that nothing reaches them until you switch it on, that switching it off closes it, and that you can see when they looked.
Nothing in Loopa is medical advice. Not the targets, not the forecasts, not the meal plans, not the coach, not anything another member writes in the community. Loopa's calculations rest on published equations and population averages, and you are not a population average.
Talk to a clinician before you act on any of it. And especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have diabetes or take medication that affects blood sugar, have a heart or kidney condition, have a history of disordered eating, or take prescription medication of any kind.
AI features can be wrong. They are generated by a language model. The allergen and never-eat safeguards reduce the risk that a suggestion conflicts with what you told us, but they are not a guarantee and they only work with what you entered. Check anything that matters.
Nutrition data is third-party data. Food and barcode information comes from external databases and from manufacturers. It can be incomplete or wrong. We pass on what we are given.
Health notices
Two settings show you a health notice before Loopa will apply them: a protein target above 1.2 g per pound (2.65 g per kg) of your goal weight, and a fast planned for 48 hours or longer. The notice states the risk, points you to clinical guidance, and cites a published source. You choose whether to continue.
Neither is a limit. There is no maximum protein target, and a fast may be set for up to 40 days. What the notice does is make sure you were told before you set it. Nothing is capped, shortened or quietly changed to a number you did not choose.
You are acknowledging that occasion, not signing something away. Each acknowledgment covers the one setting or the one fast it was given for; a new one asks again. Nothing here is a waiver of anything, and it does not make what you set a good idea for you.
You can see every notice you have accepted in the app under Your Data, and withdraw any of them. Withdrawing changes what happens next rather than what you already set: your targets keep their values, a fast in progress keeps running, and you will see the notice again the next time.
If we materially change what a notice says, we ask you again rather than treating an older acknowledgment as covering words you were never shown.
5. Membership and payment
Loopa has a free tier and a paid tier called Loopa Premium.
5.1 The plans
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loopa Premium | $12.99 | $69.99 | One person |
| Loopa Premium Family | $19.99 | $119.99 | Up to 6 people in a Loopa Family Group |
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. In other countries the store charges the equivalent local price it sets, which will not be a straight currency conversion. The price shown to you at the moment of purchase is the price that governs.
5.2 Where you buy it matters
Through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google is the seller. They take the payment, they hold your payment details, they issue the receipt, and they decide refunds. We cannot issue one, reverse one, or overrule one. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings or in Google Play. Apple's and Google's own terms apply to that transaction alongside these.
Through our website. We are the seller and Stripe processes the payment. We never see or store your full card number. Manage or cancel in your account settings.
5.3 Auto-renewal: read this part
Every paid plan renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.
- A monthly plan renews every month; a yearly plan renews every year.
- Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you are in. You keep access until that period ends.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or that renewal will already have been taken.
- Deleting the Loopa app does not cancel anything. Deleting your Loopa account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel in the store.
5.4 Changing plans
Moving up (monthly to yearly, or individual to family) takes effect immediately, and the store credits or prorates the time you have already paid for according to its own rules. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
5.5 Price changes
We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and it will only ever take effect at a renewal, never mid-period. Where the store or the law requires your affirmative consent to a price increase, your subscription will not renew at the higher price until you give it. If you do not want the new price, cancel before the renewal.
If you hold a plan at a price we later stop offering, we will honor your price for as long as your subscription runs without interruption. Let it lapse and you re-subscribe at the current price.
5.6 Free trials, promotions and beta offers
We sometimes offer free trials, discounts, complimentary memberships, or a permanent Premium grant to beta testers. Each is subject to the terms shown when it is offered, is limited to one per person, is not transferable, and has no cash value. A free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends. We may end an offer for new sign-ups at any time without affecting anyone who has already claimed it, and we may revoke a complimentary membership from someone who breaks these terms.
5.7 Refunds
Purchases through Apple or Google are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies. We have no ability to affect that. For purchases on our website, fees already charged are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods, except where a refund is required by law.
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK: you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. By starting to use Loopa Premium immediately you ask us to begin supplying it during that period and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been supplied in full. Where the right still applies, email support@mobieus.io within 14 days and we will refund you.
6. Loopa Family Group
A Family Group lets the organizer of a Loopa Premium Family subscription extend Premium to up to five other people, six in total.
- This is our feature, not Apple Family Sharing. It works across iPhone and Android. Apple Family Sharing is switched off on every Loopa product.
- The organizer invites members by email or link. Each member needs their own Loopa account and each member must independently be 18 or older.
- Every account keeps its own private data. Membership of a group does not give the organizer, or anyone else, access to another member's food logs, weight, vitals, photographs, medications or messages. What a group shares is the entitlement, plus anything a member deliberately chooses to share: the shared pantry, and a meal they send.
- Sharing a meal is one meal, sent by you, on purpose. You can send a meal from your own food diary to the rest of your group, and what travels is a frozen copy of that meal: the foods, their portions, what each one comes to, which meal of the day it was and the date. Your name goes with it. Nothing else in your diary does, and the photograph of the plate never leaves your own account. Changing or deleting the meal afterwards does not change what they already hold. Anybody who receives it may log it, adjust the portion, change it and pass their own version on, or ignore it; what they log is their own entry to keep, edit or delete. You are told how many of them logged it and which. A meal nobody acts on stops being actionable after seven days.
- Family meal sharing is one switch and it starts on. It is under Preferences in the app and in your health settings on the web, it governs both directions, and it applies wherever you are a member. Turning it off means no meals reach you and you send none; nobody is told you turned it off. Sending needs Loopa Premium, which every member of a live group already has through the group. Receiving one and logging it needs nothing.
- What you send is seen by other people. Do not put anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or impersonating somebody into a meal name or note. Any member can report a member or an item from inside the app, and reports reach our moderation team.
- The organizer pays. If the subscription lapses or the organizer removes a member, that member's Premium ends and their own data remains untouched.
- A member may leave at any time, and one seat cannot be shared by two people.
6A. Organizations
An organization is a group inside Loopa: a gym, a club, a team at work, a set of friends who want a room of their own. This section applies only if you join one or start one.
- Joining is your choice, and you can belong to as many as you like. You enter an invite code or open an invite link. Organizations are private: there is no directory, no browse and no search. Nobody at an organization can attach your account without you doing it, and each organization you belong to is separate from the others: its own members, its own room, its own challenges, and your own role in each.
- What joining gives you is a private room and the organization's challenges. The room is a forum space for its members. The challenges are its own contests, which you enter or ignore as you please. That is the whole of what membership carries.
- What it cannot see is you. No role in an organization (including the person who owns it) can see your food log, your weight, your photographs, your measurements, your workouts, your cycle or your vital signs. There is no permission for it in the system, so there is nothing to be granted, asked for, or given by mistake. No role there can recommend anything to you either, and nothing you show your coach can be addressed to anybody at your organization.
- A challenge shares one number, and only if you enter it. A challenge counts one measure over one stretch of dates: workouts logged, active minutes, steps, distance, water logged, days with a completed fast, or a daily check-in. Entering is a separate decision for each challenge, and what it shares is your total for that measure over those dates, shown to the other members of that organization. Not a day of it, not where the number came from, not anything else. A leaderboard is named or anonymous, whichever the organization chose, and coming out of a challenge takes you off the board.
- Every organization has one owner. Whoever creates it owns it. An owner can hand the organization to another member or delete it, and cannot simply walk out and leave a live room with nobody running it. Administrators and members leave whenever they like. Creating an organization, promoting a member to administrator, transferring one and deleting one need Loopa Premium; joining one, posting in it and taking part in its challenges are free for everybody.
- What an owner and an administrator can do. Change the organization's name, description, picture and accent color; share the invite code and retire one in favor of a new one; remove a member; mute a member in the room; create, close and delete the organization's challenges; and moderate that room. The accent comes from a set palette and is the color Loopa uses on that organization's own screens. A mute applies to that room and to nothing else in Loopa. Promoting and demoting an administrator, transferring the organization and deleting it belong to the owner alone. Moderation of the wider Loopa community, and these terms, stay with us.
- We can suspend an organization. A suspended organization is read-only: nobody posts, nobody new joins, and its members go on reading their own history and can leave at any point.
- Deleting an organization is permanent. It removes the room and every post in it, every challenge and every result, and there is no undo. Deleting your Loopa account does the same to any organization you own and ends every other membership you hold.
- We keep a record of what is done to an organization. Created, renamed, suspended, handed to a new owner, a member removed, promoted, demoted or muted, a challenge created or closed, the organization deleted. Each is recorded with who did it and when, and kept for 90 days. It holds no health data, and the Privacy Policy sets out what is in it.
- Your subscription stays yours. You buy Loopa Premium through the App Store or Google Play, in your own name. Belonging to an organization does not change what you pay, where you buy it or what you get, and no organization can offer you a code that routes around those stores.
- Leaving takes one tap. The room closes, you come out of any of its challenges that are still running, and results you already recorded stay on the boards they are on. Your account, your subscription, your history, your data and every other organization you belong to are untouched. The same is true if the organization is suspended or its owner deletes it.
A gym that runs Loopa for its own members is a separate arrangement, and not one of the organizations above. It is a partner of ours with its own agreement and its own Loopa at its own address, and its name, logo and color appear in your app. Once a month it sees figures about its members as a group: how many were active, how many hold Premium, how many are both, how many plans its coaches shared and how many were accepted, how many joined, how many left, and how many stayed 90 and 180 days. Those numbers describe a set of people and never name one. Its agreement with us forbids using anything it learns through Loopa in an employment, promotion, discipline, pay, insurance, benefits or membership-pricing decision about an individual, and forbids requiring you to join or to share anything with a coach; if you believe one has done any of this, write to support@mobieus.io. If a coach there coaches you, they see what you switched on, category by category, on your own consent screen, you can switch any of it off at any moment, and every time a coach opens your data it is logged and you can read the log.
6B. Referring a friend
You have an invite code. Anybody may use it, it is not part of a subscription, and using it or being invited with it costs nothing.
- What you get is a badge. Referring somebody earns you a badge in the app at certain numbers of friends and nothing else. No Premium time, no credit, no discount, no money, no entry into a draw. If you were expecting one of those, there isn't one.
- What your friend gets is Loopa. Their price, their trial and their subscription are exactly what they would have been without the code. Nothing about being invited changes what anybody pays.
- A friend counts once they have confirmed their email address and finished setting up. Somebody who signs up and stops partway is shown to you as still setting up, and is not counted until they finish.
- A code can be applied to a new account only, and only in its first week. It cannot be applied to your own account, to an account that already has one, or to an account older than that.
- We do not tell you who used your code. You see how many, not which people. Your friend is never told anything about you beyond what you told them yourself when you sent the invite.
- What we may do about abuse. We may refuse a referral, remove a badge, or withdraw your code where accounts are created to inflate a count, where a code is published somewhere it was not meant to go, or where the activity looks automated. Referring is not a way to earn, so there is nothing to reclaim; we simply stop counting it.
- Never tie it to a review. We will never ask you to leave a rating, write a review, or follow an account in exchange for anything, and neither the badge nor the code may be offered by anybody else on that basis.
7. Community, and what you post
Loopa has forums, groups, messages and shared content. When you post, you keep ownership of what you wrote.
You grant us a license. Worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable to the providers who host and deliver the Service: to store, reproduce, display and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving Loopa. It ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made by other members, backups until they expire, and content we must retain for moderation or legal reasons.
You promise that you own what you post or have the right to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights, break any law, or violate the Community Guidelines.
What is not allowed is set out in full in the Community Guidelines, which are part of this agreement. In short: no illegal content, no harassment, no hate, no sexual content, no content that sexualizes or endangers a minor, no impersonation, no spam, no scraping, no malware, no medical advice presented as a professional's, and no promotion of disordered eating. No extreme restriction targets, no purging, no "how to hide it from your doctor".
Friends. You can connect with other members as friends. A friendship shares your display name, your profile photo, and (if you leave the setting on) a badge showing how many days in a row you have logged something. It shares nothing else, and in particular it shares nothing from your health record; that requires a separate accountability-partner grant which you give category by category and can withdraw at any time. Either of you can end a friendship without telling the other, and ending it also ends any sharing between you.
You control who can reach you: who may send you a request, whether a username search returns you, and whether friends see your streak badge. Loopa does not read your contacts and no search here matches an email address or a phone number.
Reporting and blocking. Every piece of member content, every member profile, every friend request and every friend carries a report control, and you can block another member so their content and messages no longer reach you and they can no longer reach you at all. A block is not disclosed to the person blocked. We review reports of objectionable content and act within 24 hours. Removing the content, removing the member, restricting their ability to contact other members, or a combination.
We may remove content and terminate accounts at our discretion when this agreement or the Community Guidelines are broken. We are not obliged to monitor everything and we do not endorse anything a member posts.
8. What you may not do
Do not: use Loopa for anything unlawful; break into it, probe it, or bypass a limit; scrape it or use a bot on it; resell, sublicense or timeshare access; reverse engineer it except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this restriction; upload malware; impersonate anyone; harvest another member's data; interfere with anyone else's use of it; use it to build a competing product; or use it to develop or train a machine-learning model.
9. Your license to use the apps
Subject to these terms we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the Loopa apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. We keep everything else. The Loopa name, logo, design and software are ours or our licensors'.
9.1 Apple-specific terms
These apply to the App Store version, and Apple requires them:
- This agreement is between you and Mobieus Partners LLC only: not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Loopa and its content.
- The license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service, including Family Sharing where applicable.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Loopa.
- If Loopa fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to Loopa, including product liability claims, any claim that Loopa fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation, including in connection with Loopa's use of HealthKit or CareKit.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that Loopa infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Contact us at support@mobieus.io with any question, complaint or claim about Loopa.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
9.2 Google-specific terms
For the Google Play version, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your download and purchase in addition to these terms. This agreement is between you and us, not with Google. Google is not responsible for Loopa.
10. Third-party services you connect
Apple Health, Health Connect, Withings, Oura, iHealth and the others are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. Connecting one is your choice, you can disconnect at any time, and we are not responsible for what those services do, for data they hold, or for their availability. If one changes or withdraws its API, the feature that depends on it may change or stop.
11. Availability, changes, and interruption
We aim to keep Loopa running, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. For a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give reasonable notice and, if you do not want to continue, a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of a subscription bought directly from us.
We are not liable for downtime, maintenance windows, or interruptions caused by things outside our reasonable control.
12. Ending this agreement
You may stop using Loopa at any time and delete your account from More → Delete Account in the app or from your account settings on the web. Deleting your account destroys your health-data encryption key, which makes everything you stored permanently unreadable. Cancel any store subscription separately.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonable, if you break this agreement or the Community Guidelines, if we must for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused portion of a subscription bought directly from us.
Sections 4, 7 (the license you granted), 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20 survive termination.
13. Copyright and the DMCA
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send them to dmca@mobieus.io with: your signature, physical or electronic; identification of the work; identification of the material and enough detail for us to find it; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification to the same address with the statutory contents. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
14. Disclaimers
Loopa is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that its calculations, forecasts, nutrition data or AI output will be accurate or suitable for you.
We do not warrant any health outcome. Weight, body composition and health depend on far more than an app.
If you are a consumer, nothing here excludes or limits any warranty or right you have under the law of your country that cannot be excluded, including under the EU Digital Content Directive, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law, or Canadian provincial consumer protection legislation. Where such a law applies, the disclaimers above apply only to the extent that law permits.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our officers, employees or suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to Loopa, on any theory of liability, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to Loopa is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and: for consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada and any other jurisdiction with equivalent rules: any liability that mandatory consumer law does not allow us to exclude. If you are such a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by this section.
16. Indemnity
If you are a business or you use Loopa other than as a consumer, you will indemnify us against claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of this agreement or of anyone's rights. This section does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.
17. Governing law and disputes
17.1 If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland or Canada
The arbitration and class-waiver provisions below do not apply to you.
This agreement is governed by the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing takes away a mandatory protection of that law. EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17.2 If you are anywhere else
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, email legal@mobieus.io describing the dispute and what you want. We will do the same. Give it 30 days. Most things end here.
Binding arbitration. If that fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or Loopa will be resolved by final and binding arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before one arbitrator, in the county where you live or by videoconference or on documents at your choice. The arbitrator decides all questions, including arbitrability. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. We pay the arbitration filing and administrative fees for a consumer claim to the extent the AAA rules require.
Class action waiver. You and we each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated or representative action, and the arbitrator may not preside over one. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the rest stays in arbitration.
Opt out. You may reject arbitration by emailing legal@mobieus.io within 30 days of first accepting these terms, with your name and the words "arbitration opt-out". Opting out costs you nothing and changes nothing else.
Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may seek an injunction to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorized access, without first arbitrating.
Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year of when it arose, where the law permits such a limit.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top say which version you are reading.
For a material change we will give you notice in the app and by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or addresses a security issue, in which case it may take effect sooner. If you do not accept a change, stop using Loopa and cancel before it takes effect; if it materially reduces what your paid plan provides and you cancel because of it, we will refund the unused portion of a subscription bought directly from us. Continuing to use Loopa after a change takes effect means you accept it.
19. Notice for California residents
Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users are entitled to this notice: the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.
If you are a California resident and you post content publicly, you may request removal of that content: email support@mobieus.io. Removal may not be complete or comprehensive where copies have already been made by others.
20. Everything else
Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines are the whole agreement between us about Loopa and replace anything said before.
Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands and that provision is narrowed to the least extent needed to make it enforceable.
No waiver. Not enforcing something once does not waive it.
Assignment. You may not assign this agreement. We may assign it to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale, on notice to you.
No third-party beneficiaries, except Apple as stated in §9.1.
Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and agree that electronic agreements, notices and records satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
Notices to you go to your account email address. Notices to us go to legal@mobieus.io.
Export. You will comply with US export control and sanctions laws.
Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something beyond reasonable control.
