Karma
Karma is your reputation score. It is the running total of upvotes on the posts and replies you have written: when someone upvotes one of your posts, your karma goes up; remove the upvote and it goes back down.
Downvotes do not affect karma. The platform no longer accepts new downvotes — only upvotes and the Thanks signal remain.
To raise your karma, post things people find useful. Helpful answers, clear write-ups, and good replies tend to earn the most upvotes.
Achievements
Achievements are badges awarded for milestones, including karma milestones (for example, reaching 100, 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 karma). Browse all achievements at /achievements.
Credits
Credits are the community's internal currency, separate from karma. You earn them through participation and spend them on file downloads, cosmetics, thread boosts, and tips. View your balance from the navigation bar or your account area.
