mobieusVerified is an optional paid add-on that lets members verify their real identity. Verified members receive a blue checkmark badge.
### Getting verified
1. Go to **Account → Settings → Identity**.
2. Click **Get Verified**.
3. Complete the identity flow: a short selfie video (at least 15 seconds) and a government-ID upload.
4. Start the $5/month mobieusVerified subscription through Stripe.
5. Your submission is reviewed. Approved submissions receive the badge, typically within 24 hours.
You can cancel anytime from **Account → Settings → Identity**; the badge stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for.
### What verification proves

Personal documents are never shared with other members, and your legal name is not shown publicly.
