'''Grocery List''' turns the recipes you plan to cook into one shopping list. Add a few recipes at the servings you need, and Loopa adds the ingredients up, puts them in aisle order and keeps the list in step on every device you use.
You find it on the Recipes home, under '''Grocery List'''.
== Adding recipes ==
On a recipe, tap '''Add to grocery list''' and choose the servings you plan to cook. The ingredients join the list at that amount, and each item says which recipe it came from.
Add as many recipes as you like. Lines for "salt to taste", and lines you set to count for nothing, are left off.
== How amounts combine ==
When two recipes use the same food, Loopa adds them into one item. Two recipes that each need 300 g of chicken thighs become one line for 600 g, shown in your own units.
Some things stay as separate lines, so the list never guesses:
- A food bought by count and the same food by weight, such as "3 lemons" and "50 g lemon".
- A weight and a volume of the same food when Loopa has no weight per cup for that food.
- Anything you typed in yourself.
If an item you already ticked off grows because you added another recipe, it is unticked, because you now need more.
== Aisles ==
Items are grouped into '''Produce''', '''Protein''', '''Dairy''', '''Frozen''', '''Pantry''' and '''Other''', so you can work through the shop one section at a time.
== Your own items ==
Type anything into '''Add an item''' at the top: paper towels, coffee, the thing you keep forgetting. Loopa puts it in the right section when it recognizes it, and in '''Other''' when it does not.
== In the shop ==
- Tap an item to tick it off.
- Tap the cross beside an item to remove it.
- '''Clear checked''' removes everything you ticked off, and clearing the whole list starts again.
== Every device, and offline ==
There is one list for your account. Tick something off on your phone and it is ticked off on your tablet and on the web.
On iPhone, iPad and Android the list is kept on the phone too. Changes you make without a connection are saved and sent in order when you are back online.
== Limits ==
The list holds up to 300 items.
== Privacy ==
Your grocery list is yours alone. It is deleted if you delete your account, and if you erase your health record. See [[erasing-your-health-record|Erasing your health record]].
== If your Premium ends ==
The grocery list is part of Loopa Premium. Removing items and clearing the list stay available whatever your plan.
