Coach comments on a session

2 min read · 332 words · 1 revision · Updated Sep 6, 2026

Your coach can leave a comment on a session, and you can reply to it there. It is deliberately not a chat: a comment lives on one workout, and only your coach can start one.

There is no coach messaging in Loopa. This is the whole of the written exchange, and it is bounded on purpose.

How a thread starts

Your coach opens it, on one session, and only where they can already read. If you have not turned on the Workouts sharing category for them, they cannot see your sessions and cannot comment on one.

You cannot start a thread yourself. That is what keeps this attached to training rather than becoming a private message channel with no rules.

Replying

Once a thread exists on a session you can reply to it as many times as you like. It stays on that session, in order, and both of you see the same thread.

Reply to a session with no thread and Loopa tells you there is nothing to reply to yet.

The limit

A coach may leave at most 10 comments per client per day. Past that, the app tells them so.

The cap is there to keep comments worth reading. A coach who needs to say more than ten things about one day's training is having a different conversation, and it belongs somewhere designed for one.

A comment can be up to 1,000 characters.

Reporting one

Any comment can be reported, free, from the comment itself. It goes to moderation like any other report in Loopa. See Community rules and reporting.

When the relationship ends

If you change coach or end the arrangement, their access closes in the same moment, and no new comments can be written.

What you already have stays yours to read.
