Shared pantry item names and member names are written by people, and anything people write can be misused. You have three ways to deal with it, and they all work immediately.
Remove the item
Any participating member can delete any item in the shared pantry. You do not need to have added it and you do not need the organizer's permission. Open My Pantry and remove it.
Report it
Every shared pantry item and every group member has a report action in the app. Tell us what is wrong. Reports go to our moderation team in the same queue as everything else on the platform, and we respond in a timely manner.
- An item: the flag icon on the item in My Pantry.
- A member: the menu beside their name in Preferences > Family Group.
The person you report is not told who reported them.
Leave, or remove them
In a group of at most six people, leaving is the block. Any member can leave at any time, and the organizer can remove any member. Either takes effect immediately: sharing stops in both directions at once.
