Get help now puts crisis lines and emergency numbers in one place, each one a tap. It is free for everyone, on every plan.
Loopa is a wellness app, not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number now.
Where it is
- At the top of Loopa AI Coach, above the conversation: "In crisis or an emergency?" and Get help now. It is there on every visit, before you type anything.
- At the top of the Healthy Habit Helper (H³) builder.
- You tab › Help › Get help now.
- On the Medical Disclaimer page under You › Legal, More ways to get help.
The sheet
The sheet is titled Get help now and opens with "You don't have to handle this alone." and "Loopa is a wellness app, not a crisis or emergency service. These connect you to people who can help, any time, free."
In danger or a medical emergency
- Call 911: "Emergency services, for danger to life or a medical emergency. Outside the US, use your local emergency number."
- Call Poison Help, 1-800-222-1222: "If something was swallowed or too much of a medicine was taken. Free, 24/7, US."
Thinking about suicide or self-harm, or overwhelmed
- Call 988: "Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Free, confidential, 24/7 in the US."
- Text 988: "The same Lifeline, by text message."
- Text HOME to 741741: "Crisis Text Line, if texting feels easier. Free, 24/7 in the US."
Struggling with food or eating
- National Eating Disorders Association: "A free, confidential screening tool and ways to find support." (nationaleatingdisorders.org)
Outside the US
- Find a helpline in your country: "Free, confidential lines worldwide." (findahelpline.com)
The footer reads "One tap opens your phone, messages or browser. Nothing is dialled or sent until you confirm it there." A call opens your phone app, a text opens a new message, and a website opens in your browser.
Copy beside each number puts it on your clipboard; it changes to Copied. Tap Done to close the sheet.
On an iPad or another device that can't call
The sheet says "This device can't place calls. Each number is shown in full so you can call it from a phone, and Copy puts it on your clipboard." Each row then copies the number instead of dialling. If a link doesn't open, the row says "That didn't open on this device. The number is" followed by the number, and Copy still works.
Inside the coach
If something you write to Loopa AI Coach suggests you might be in crisis, its reply carries the same lines under YOU DESERVE REAL SUPPORT, or GET EMERGENCY HELP NOW for a medical emergency. That is free on every plan too.
On Android
Android has the same Get help now button and the same lines.
