When a weigh-in crosses something worth marking, Loopa says so. A first weigh-in, a round number lost, a share of your starting weight, a new low or your goal each get a moment, sized to how big it is. Every milestone is shown once in your life, and they are part of Loopa Basic.

What gets marked
Each weigh-in is checked against your history. The biggest thing that weigh-in achieved is the one you see.
- Your first weigh-in: "First weigh-in logged" and "This is the number everything else is measured from."
- A round number lost, counted from your starting weight. The headline is the amount, for example "25 lb down". In pounds the milestones are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200. In kilograms they are 2, 5, 7, 10, 13, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90. The line underneath reads "Another one behind you." for the smaller ones and "A number worth saying out loud." for the larger ones.
- A share of your starting weight: 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 percent. When it lands on the same weigh-in as a round number, it rides in the line underneath ("That is 10% of what you started at."). When it is the only thing you crossed, it is the headline, for example "10% of your starting weight", with how much you have lost in total underneath.
- A new low that crosses no other milestone: "A new low" and "Lightest you have logged.", followed by your total loss.
- Your goal weight: "Goal weight reached", with your total loss and "down, and you are there."
The unit follows your body-weight setting in Units & Measurements.
If one weigh-in passes several milestones (300 lb to 285 lb crosses both 10 and 15), the headline is the largest amount passed, and the moment is sized by the biggest milestone on the way.
How it looks
The screen dims and a card shows the headline and the line underneath, with a flag for your goal and a down arrow for everything else. The size scales with the milestone:
- Your first weigh-in and a new low are the card alone, no confetti. They close by themselves after about 2 seconds.
- A smaller milestone adds a little confetti and closes after about 3 seconds.
- A larger milestone adds more confetti and a double buzz, and closes after about 4 seconds.
- Your goal gets the most confetti and stays until you dismiss it.
Tap Nice, or anywhere outside the card, to close it sooner.
If you turned on Reduce Motion in your iPhone's accessibility settings, there is no confetti and the card appears without animating. The message stays the same.
Once per milestone
Each milestone is shown once. Saving the same weight again does not show it again, and neither does losing a pound, putting it back and losing it again. Correcting a typo an hour later does not repeat it either. You already passed that one.
Where it appears
The card appears right after a weigh-in is saved, on the phone. At the moment, a weigh-in saved from the + button on iPhone closes the sheet without showing the card; the card appears when you log from the Body Fat screen's Log a weigh-in button or from the + button inside the H³ habit builder. A milestone you pass from the + button is still counted as passed, so it is not shown later. Weight badges on your profile are granted either way; see Achievements.
