Every phone or tablet signed in to Loopa has its own session, and you can end any of them from anywhere. If a device is lost, stolen or simply somebody else's, sign it out and its access stops.
This is a core account feature. It is not gated on a plan or a subscription.
Where to find it
- In the app: You › Preferences › Devices.
- On the web: Settings › Sessions & devices at
/account/devices.
Both read the same list and either can sign out any of them.
What the list shows
For each signed-in app session:
- The device name it reported.
- The platform it is running.
- When it first signed in, and when it was last used.
- The IP address it was last used from.
Sorted with the most recently used first, so an unfamiliar device is usually near the top.
Signing one out
Sign out on the row. That session is revoked immediately and its push notifications are switched off in the same act, so a signed-out device stops receiving anything as well as stopping reading anything.
Sign out other devices ends all of them at once.
Signing out is not reversible; the device signs in again normally.
One thing that surprises people
Your browser is not in the list. The list is app sessions. A browser signs in with an ordinary cookie session, which is a different thing, and there is no row for it.
So on a plain desktop browser nothing is badged as "this device", and sign out other devices signs out every app session including the one on the phone in your hand. Inside the app, your own row is badged and left alone.
