"Finish setting up" is a checklist of the parts of Loopa you have not set up yet. It is not a second sign-up. The wizard you ran when you joined is a different thing, and this wraps around it.
Nothing on the checklist costs anything. Setting up is how you find out what the app does, and a paywall in front of that hides the screens that would explain the purchase. The features themselves keep their own tiers: you can finish the protocols step for free and meet the offer inside the protocol screens.
What is on it
Up to eleven steps, in order:
- Your account and the consent you gave are the two that everybody sees.
- About you, your goals, your targets and what you track.
- Medications and protocols.
- Connecting a device.
- Reminders.
- Connections: friends, a buddy, a family group.
Everything after the first two is optional. The checklist is a list of what is available to you, not a list of things you owe anybody.
You only see steps your app can actually deliver
A step whose feature is not on this community is never offered. If protocols are switched off, there is no protocols step. Absence and "off" are treated the same way, because a checklist item that leads to a dead end is worse than a missing one.
That is also why finished means finished with what your community offers. You can be done while a step you can never see sits untouched somewhere in the data.
Half-finished steps are held safely
If you start entering a medication and stop, what you typed is kept as a draft rather than written into your medication list.
That matters more than it sounds. A half-entered prescription in your real medication section would sit there looking real, and the interaction checker would run against it. A draft does not.
When you finish the step, the draft is written properly and deleted in the same moment, so there is never a point where you have both and never one where you have neither.
A draft replaces the previous one rather than merging with it. Merging two half-filled forms produces a third version neither you nor the app ever saw, which is how a medication you removed reappears.
Dismissing it
Dismiss and it does not come back on its own. Everything on it stays reachable from Settings, and nothing you skipped is lost.
