Focus lets you follow up to three specific things inside your daily fluid total, each with its own optional target. It is part of Loopa Premium.
What a focus target can be
- A kind of drink. Water, milk, coffee, tea, soda, juice, sports drink, alcohol, or other.
- One item you saved. Your own bottled green tea, your own brand of milk. Any food you have marked as a liquid can be a focus target.
You can have three at a time, in any combination.
Setting one up
Open the hydration screen and tap Add beside Focus. Pick a kind of drink from the list, or choose "One of your saved drinks" and search for it. Give it a daily target in ounces if you want one, or leave it empty to simply watch it.
Tap Save. Your targets appear under the ring, and on your dashboard beneath the fluid total.
They are tracked whichever way your goal is set
This is the point of Focus. Your targets are counted from every liquid you log, regardless of whether Count all liquids is on. So you can:
- Keep your goal on plain water, and still watch your green tea and your milk on the side.
- Count every liquid toward your goal, and still see water broken out on its own.
The setting decides what your goal adds up. Focus decides what you watch. They are independent.
Targets are optional
A focus target with a daily goal shows a progress bar and reads "12 / 32 oz". One without a goal simply shows what you have had. Watching something without chasing a number is a perfectly good reason to add it.
Changing or removing them
Tap Edit beside Focus. Remove a target with the minus button, change a goal by typing over it, add another if you have fewer than three. Save when you are done. The whole list is saved together.
Removing a target changes nothing you logged. It stops being displayed, and that is all.

The full fluid total, the goal, the breakdown by kind and Count all liquids are all free. Focus targets are the Premium layer on top, and the hydration screen shows you what they do with an option to upgrade.
