Part of the Loopa iOS app guide.

The Plan is the reasoning behind your daily numbers: the goal you're working toward, the calorie and macro targets computed for you, and the settings that produced them. In the app it opens from the Health hub's My Loopa section as Health Settings. It is both a summary and an editor: the top cards report your plan, and native settings sections below them let you change the same inputs. It's part of Using the iOS app.

General wellness tracking, not medical advice.

Case progress

The first card is a progress ring showing how far you are toward your goal weight as a percentage, alongside your Current and Goal weight, how much you've Lost, and an On track date estimate for reaching the goal. See Weight tracking and Weight forecast.

Daily targets

The Daily Targets card lays out the numbers your plan runs on as tiles:

  • Target: your daily calorie goal.
  • BMR: basal metabolic rate.
  • TDEE: total daily energy expenditure.
  • Water: your daily water goal in ounces.
  • BMI and its class band. A Sources button explains where the figures come from. These targets are what the Food log measures your day against. See Calorie and macro tracking and Understanding calories.

Macro split

When a macro split is set, a Macros card shows a stacked bar and a legend for Protein, Carbs and Fat, each with its percentage of calories and its gram target. See Macronutrients explained.

Your settings

Your journal card summarizes the inputs that produced your targets: diet style, activity level, goal pace, protein per pound of goal weight, daily carb limit, height, and age/sex.

Changing your plan

Below the summary cards are native Health Settings sections that edit those same inputs (diet, activity, pace, protein and carb goals, and your body details), each saving on its own without handing you off to a website. Change an input here and your targets recompute. When you want ideas for meals that fit these targets, the Food log's "What should I eat?" suggestions size options against your remaining macros; see Meal planner.

Apple Health

A link at the bottom opens Apple Health settings, where you connect the app to Apple's Health app. See Apple Health sync.
