The app layout and tabs

Part of the Loopa iOS app guide.

The app layout is a persistent brand bar across the top, your content in the middle, and a bottom bar of destinations. Loopa opens on the Health tab, which is your day. Everything else hangs off the bottom bar. This page maps the masthead, the tabs, the Health hub's menu, and deep links. For the whole app, see Using the iOS app.

General wellness tracking, not medical advice.

The top masthead

Pinned to the very top of every screen is the masthead, the centered Loopa wordmark on the light background. It sits above the tab content, so even when you push into a sub-page the wordmark stays in view. It's a brand bar, not a menu. There are no controls on it.

The quick-log button is everywhere

A round, stamp-red + (the Quick-Log button) floats in the bottom-right corner of every screen and every tab, not just your home page, so a log is always two taps away. Its fan is topped by Help Me, the in-the-moment coach. See The Quick-Log button.

The bottom bar

The bottom bar holds five destinations:

  • Health: your log, and your home screen (Today's Page). See Today's Page.
  • Progress holds what your log adds up to: Trends, Summary, your Weekly report, History, Achievements, Challenges, the Leaderboard, and Share with a clinician.
  • Coach gathers every coaching surface in one place: Help Me, the Healthy Habit Helper (H³), and your own coach if you have one.
  • Community: people. The Feed, the Forums and your Messages are three tabs across the top of it, and the People menu beside them holds Organizations, Friends, Following, Discovery and Refer a friend. The unread-message badge sits on this tab. See The Feed, Forums on iOS and Messages.
  • You: your profile, membership, settings, and account controls, with a badge for unread notifications. See Your profile and the You tab.

Re-tap the tab you are already on to go back to its top, from however many screens deep you are.

Recording a video is a button inside Community, next to the posts it becomes. It is not a tab of its own.

Your selected tab is remembered across launches, and the Community and You badges both come from the same unread count the app polls in the background.

The Health hub: Today's Page and the archive menu

The Health tab is the main surface. At the top is a date stamp and Today's Page: the coach line, your Fuel/Water/Move rings, and the day's cards. The Quick-Log button floats over it (and every other screen) for fast logging.

Scroll past the day's cards and you reach the archive menu, organized into four sections. Each row pushes to a full screen:

  • Health Settings: goals, diet, macros, and trackers. See Settings.
  • Health Info & Sources: the guidance the app draws on.

Insights

If your subscription doesn't include the health tools, the Health tab shows the membership screen instead; see Subscription and the full report. If you haven't finished setup, it shows a resume card; see Onboarding and first setup.

What moved out of the Health hub

Health is your log. What the log adds up to lives one tab along, and every coaching surface lives in another. Nothing was removed, and each is one tap from the tab that names it.

  • Progress: Trends, Summary, Weekly report, History, Achievements, Challenges, Leaderboard, Share with a clinician.
  • Coach: Help Me, the Healthy Habit Helper (H³), and your coach.
  • Community: Organizations, Friends, Following, Discovery, Refer a friend.

Deep links

Tapping a notification or an app link jumps you straight to the right place: a message opens the Messages tab on that conversation, a forum link opens Forums on that thread, and a health reminder opens the matching Health screen (water, weight, vitals, supplements, food, fasting, reminders, and the rest). Anything without a dedicated screen lands on your notification inbox under You, so a tap is never dropped.
