Part of the Loopa app guide. Also on Android.

My pantry is the short list of basics you keep in. When Loopa suggests something to eat, it leans on what is already in your cupboard, but it is never limited to it. Open it from MoreYour Food PlansMy pantry.

General wellness tracking, not medical advice.

What to put in it

Basics, not a full inventory. Rice, eggs, chicken, olive oil, frozen vegetables, the things you nearly always have. A pantry of twenty staples is more useful than one of two hundred items you bought once.

You do not need to keep it accurate to the gram. Nothing is counted, nothing expires, and nothing is deducted when you cook.

It is a preference, not a filter

This is the part worth understanding. Loopa uses your pantry to lean suggestions toward what you already have. It does not restrict them to it, and it will still suggest something you need to shop for when that is the better answer.

That is deliberate. A list of food that silently narrowed what Loopa would suggest would be a trap. You would stop getting ideas and never know why.

Adding, renaming and removing

  • Type an item and tap + to add it.
  • Tap the pencil to rename an item.
  • Tap the × to remove one.
  • Empty at the top clears the whole list at once.

Emptying your pantry touches nothing else. Your food log, your plans and your history are untouched.

Where it shows up

  • What to eat has a Use my pantry toggle that leans the suggestions toward your list.
  • Meal planner leaves items you already have off the shopping list.
