Part of the Loopa iOS app guide.

The daily check-ins are three quick loggers (Mood, Feeling, and Sleep) that you reach from The Quick-Log button on Today's Page. Each one is a small sheet you fill in a couple of taps, and all three save into the same daily record as your weight, water, and vitals, so they flow straight into Trends on iOS and the dashboard. See Using the iOS app for the wider tour.

General wellness tracking, not medical advice.

Where to find them

Tap the round + quick-log button in the bottom-right corner and the fan opens with a labeled pill for each log type. Mood (a smiley face icon), Feeling (a bolt-heart icon), and Sleep (a bed icon) each open their own sheet. Because the button remembers the last thing you logged, a long-press can jump you straight back to whichever check-in you filed most recently. See The Quick-Log button.

Mood

The Mood sheet asks "How's your mood?" and shows a row of five faces on a 1–5 scale:

  • 😖 Awful (1)
  • 😕 Low (2)
  • 😐 Okay (3)
  • 🙂 Good (4)
  • 😄 Great (5)

Tap a face to pick it. The one you choose grows and highlights while the others dim. Below the faces there's an optional one-line note field ("Add a note (optional)") where you can jot the why behind the number; the note rides along with the reading. When a face is selected the Save button turns on (it stays dimmed until you pick one). Filing writes your mood value (1–5), plus the note if you added one, and the sheet closes with a confirmation.

Feeling

The Feeling sheet asks "How do you feel?" and is your energy check-in, a vertical list of five battery levels from empty to full:

  • Drained (1)
  • Low (2)
  • Okay (3)
  • Good (4)
  • Charged (5)

Tap a level and a checkmark marks your choice. Save becomes active once something is selected, and filing records your energy level (1–5) for the day.

Sleep

The Sleep sheet is headed "Last Night's Sleep" and holds a single stepper field, Hours, starting at 7.5 and moving in half-hour steps (you can also type a number). Anything from 0 to 24 hours is accepted. Save records the hours you slept.

What each one writes, and where it shows up

The three check-ins save to your daily health record as mood, energy, and sleep hours respectively. From there:

  • Sleep surfaces as the LAST NIGHT chip on Today's Page and gets its own panel on the Trends screen. See Trends on iOS.
  • Mood gets its own trend panel on the Trends screen, so you can watch it against the rest of your day.
  • Feeling (energy) is filed alongside them so it, too, becomes part of the record you review over time.

Sleep hours also live next to your blood pressure, glucose, and INR readings. You can log or review the same sleep figure from The Vitals screen.

Small stuff

  • Selecting a face or level gives a light tap of haptic feedback; a successful save gives a success buzz, and a failure buzzes differently and shows an inline "Not filed. Try again" banner so nothing is silently lost.
  • Each sheet opens at its own height and can be pulled down to dismiss without filing.
  • The sheets save to the server, so give them a moment on a slow connection; the button stays busy until the save lands.
