Deleting a log entry

5 min read · 888 words · 3 revisions · Updated Oct 31, 2026

Logged something by mistake, or twice? This page shows how to remove an entry from each part of your log on iPhone and Android. Removing your own entries is free on every plan, including Loopa Basic.

A deleted entry is gone for good, so Loopa asks you to confirm first on most screens. Loopa often says Strike from the record where other apps say delete. They mean the same thing.

One place for everything: Raw Logs

Raw Logs lists everything you entered, by day or by kind, with a trash icon on each row. Open it from the Progress tab, under Over time, then tap Raw Logs.

Tap the trash icon on a row, then Delete to confirm. Raw Logs covers food, water, weight, sleep, mood, vitals, activity, measurements, supplements and protocol doses.

A few kinds are kept as one figure per day, so deleting the row removes that whole day's value: water, weight, sleep, mood and measurements. To take back a single glass of water, use the Water screen below. Raw Logs has the details.

Food

Open Health, then The Log, then Food.

  • Tap the trash icon on the entry, then Strike to confirm.
  • Or tap the pencil to open Edit Entry, tap Delete entry, then Delete.
  • On iPhone you can also press and hold the entry and choose Strike from the record.

See Editing a food entry to change an amount instead.

Water

Open Health, then The Log, then Water.

  • Undo last removes the most recent amount you added today.
  • Clear today removes all of today's water after you confirm.

See The Water screen.

Weight

Open Health, then The Log, then Weight, and find the weigh-in in the history.

  • iPhone: swipe the weigh-in to the left and tap Delete.
  • Android: tap Delete on the weigh-in.

Confirm with Delete. See The Weight screen.

Vitals

Readings are removed one at a time. Open Health, then The Log, then Vitals, and find the reading under The Record.

  • iPhone: press and hold the reading and choose Strike from the record, then Strike reading.
  • Android: tap the reading to open Amend Reading, tap DELETE READING, then Strike reading.

See The Vitals screen.

Ketone readings

Ketone readings live in Metabolic Insights, which is part of Loopa Premium. Open the reading from Metabolic Insights, then:

  • iPhone: tap the ⋯ menu and choose Delete.
  • Android: tap the pencil, then Delete this reading.

Confirm with Delete. A glucose reading you entered with it stays in Vitals. See Metabolic Insights.

Activity

Open Health, then The Log, then Activity, and press and hold the session under The Record.

  • iPhone: choose Strike from the record, then confirm.
  • Android: the confirmation opens straight away. Tap Strike.

The day's calorie burn is recalculated without it. On iPhone, pressing and holding the day's steps and minutes offers Clear steps & minutes. See The Activity screen.

Body measurements

Open Health, then The Log, then Measurements. Tap Strike last entry to remove your most recent entry, or press and hold a measurement card to remove only its latest value. Confirm with Strike. An older day can be removed from Raw Logs. See The Measurements screen.

Progress photos

Open Health, then The Log, then Progress photos, and tap the photo.

  • iPhone: tap the trash icon at the top right.
  • Android: tap Delete.

Confirm with Delete. See Progress photos.

Supplements, protocol doses and symptoms

Workouts and fasts

A workout you are logging can be thrown away before you finish it: on iPhone, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Discard workout; on Android, tap Discard this workout.

A finished workout: on the Workouts screen, under Recent sessions, tap the trash button on the session. Loopa asks Delete this workout? and names the session and its date. Confirm with Delete workout on iPhone or Delete on Android. The session goes with its sets, and the calories it added to that day come off the day, so your totals for that day update straight away.

A past fast: on the Fasting timer, under The Record, tap the trash button on the fast. Loopa asks Delete this fast? and shows the fast and how long it ran. Confirm with Delete fast on iPhone or Delete on Android. The fast leaves your history and your fasting stats. A fast that is still running is ended with the timer, not deleted.

Either way, Cancel (iPhone) or Keep it (Android) leaves everything as it was. A deleted workout or fast can't be brought back.

The Workouts screen and the Fasting timer are part of Loopa Premium, so these two are deleted from those screens while you have Premium, including during your first 14 days. See What Loopa Basic includes.
